This guide describes the different types of rules that are used to define audiences.
An audience consists of a
name, an optional
rules. Rules are the criteria that a visitor's profile must meet in order to be segmented into that audience.
An audience is also assigned an ID. In Contentful, this ID will be identical to the entry ID. We recommend not changing the ID after the audience has been created.
You have great flexibility to define audiences. There are many types of rules, and rules can be combined together using
orcombinators to narrow or broaden the scope of audience.
